Scoliosis: Life, Support & Friends

Hola As you know I have been having more Bowen treatment and I had the sacrum move done last week, unfortunately I slipped while moving out of the way for a car last week and pulled a muscle in my right hip (well I think that is what it is) On Sunday morning I got out of bed to find I could not straighten, the pain was horrendous if I even tried, so I have been walking bent over forward ever since, I have tried to bend and do some Yoga to try and just get upright but I simply cannot. I had to miss my Bowen appointment on Tuesday because there was no way I could get in the car and bounce down the coast and back, I think Bowen might have helped but right now standing and walkign around for 10 minutes is too much for me! I have cried very hard the past 2 days, not through pity because I tend not to feel sorry for myself, but through increased amounts of pain, the Sciatica is giving me grief on both legs and the fact I cannot take a deep breath without feeling it keeps me low :( Having a h...

Boy what a week it was last week! We started our new business selling Portable Power Solutions , our stock arrived and then the phone started ringing, orders were coming in and Chris and I found ourselves very busy, up and down the coast all day long, delivering this and that, we also went to a great networking meeting and met some good guys running various businesses, it was nice to network with like minded people :) We also bought ourselves a pitch at a Danish do in Fuengirola, however, this turned a bit sour for us as we felt that the audience were not for us so decided to call it a day and cancel the Saturday and Sunday pitch, we were glad about that as it rained on Saturday, and with our products using Solar it would have been no good that we were inside the building, the Solar products could not come into their own. Hi Guys Sorry for being so quiet these past 10 days, we have been to Bristol and Cardiff and the internet connection charges were so expensive we decided to just not have access for a few days - very unlike us! I had a terrible journey to the UK - planes never gel with me very much anyway, the positions in the seats are so uncomfortable, however, this time around the pilot threw the plane on the ground and I felt the most amazing shot of pain go up my spine from the hard bang on the ground - if we had been anywhere else but a public place I would have cried like a baby! After that I was in pain for the rest of the time we were there, such a shame as I had "behaved" myself prior to going away so that I could try and enjoy myself and not be too concerned over my back - this was not to be, I ended up using my wheelchair for pretty much the whole trip and when walking I was clinging onto my walking stick for dear life! Having a better day today than yesterday but walking is painful and everything is such a great effort, my friend brought a wheelchair around for me and that has been such a great help to me at least I can get around and I am not laying in bed all day long, I can come upstairs and get to the fridge and so on. Pains seems to be reducing for the first time this week.
